After brilliant displays against Nairobi City Stars and Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League, Noah Wafula has been called to the Harambee Stars squad that is in residential training at Kasarani to prepare for Next weeks Africa Cup of Nations second round qualifier against the Zebras of Lesotho.
He got his first call up to the national team during last year‘s CECAFA senior Challenge Cup. Since forcing his was back to the team, Wafula has scored two goals in two matches. Before an injury that kept him off the pitch for over three weeks Wafula had been on a good run during the inaugural CECAFA Nile Basin Tournament where he helped the club qualify for the finals with two goals on his credit.
