AFC Leopards defender Jackson Saleh says getting four points from Tusker FC is no mean achievement. A 0-0 draw at Kasarani on Sunday August 17, 2014 helped Ingwe stamp its position in the KPL Top 8. Saleh who scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over the brewers in May says the four points will help in buiding the team’s confidence in the long run.

“The draw gives us some bragging rights. Tusker have dominated past matched but a win and no loss to them this season means so much.”

“ We wanted a double but they came out and put us on the backfoot in the second half a lot. I feel that we could have got more from the match as we had the better chances.”

“We intend to continue with the good run and hopefully something good will come up in the long run.”

“We have lost only one match in the second leg and this has shown that we are capable of chasing for top honors .”

Leopards are 8th on the KPL log with 30 points from 22 matches.
