AFC Leopards beat Wazito FC 6-1 in a friendly match played last Wednesday at Camp Toyoyo ground.

Goals from Ghanaian striker Gilbert Fiamenyo, youngster Marcelus Ingotsi, Whyvonne Isuza and Vincent Oburu handed the Big Cats the sweet victory in a match where Allan Kateregga was also outstanding.

Wazito FC got their goal in the first few minutes of the game from forward Joe Waithera but AFC Leopards battled to score two leaving the National Super League side trailing 2-1 into the breather thanks to Gilbert Fiamenyo’s brace.

On return, Ingwe were out to destroy the Frank Ouna coached outfit drilling in four more goals as from the 71st minute of the game. 

Vincent Oburu scored with his first touch to pave way for former Mathare United ace Whyvonne Isuza three minutes later.

Lanky striker, who was promoted from Ingwe’s junior club in January, Marcelus ‘Adebayo’ Ingotsi, then stepped up to complete a brace between the 82nd and 90th minutes.

This was AFC Leopards’ fifth friendly match having played against Embu County combined team, Tutu combined team, Kibera Black Stars and Kariobangi Sharks.
