Sony Sugar failure to turn up for the tie against AFC Leopards SC saw the match awarded to the away team.
The match had been scheduled for Awendo but was moved to Afraha on security grounds by the Football Kenya Federation who cited the events involving the two sides in previous seasons as well as Gor Mahia.
Sony Sugar missed the pre-match meeting earlier in the day as it became apparent that they would boycott the tie in total.
Kenya Premier League are yet to release a statement on the whole scenario.AFC Leopards hence won the tie 2-0.
The team left for Mumias immediately after the match officials finished the tie.
