AFC Leopards midfielder Bernard Mang’oli has expressed the team’s confidence ahead of the Sunday derby and believes the side has what it takes to win at home.
The midfielder has played in most derbies for the Club since 2010 as a youngster and understands the pressure the matches bring. He shared the camp’s preparation and his own outlook on the game with a message to the fans ahead of the big match on Kenyan soccer calendar.
“I believe we will get a win on Sunday,” he said.
“These are the matches that fans expect us to win. I know we will give our best for a very good result.”
“When we play with the twelfth man then we can win the match.”
Mang’oli says that the efforts in training have doubled ahead of the crunch tie.
“We want to win the coming match to improve on the current position in the league. We need a lot of support from fans.”
The midfielder reckons the passion of the fans and thanks them for inspiring them in the midweek clash against City Stars which they won 2-0.
“The mid week win has helped us a lot in recovery from the previous bad results and it has boosted morale for Sunday match.”
