Pieter De Jongh has raised concern over the missed chances the team had against Muhoroni Youth on Wednesday.
After the teams played to a goalless draw at Nyayo Stadium, the coach was cautious of blame in his post match remarks.
“ I saw the players give their best to win but also were unlucky on the day,” he said.
“ We created so many chances but never took them to our advantage. I can count as many as twelve chances which we could have utilized to get the points but then we did not.”
“We have to take this chances to get better results. We did not lose but we would be better with a win now.”
The coach also took note of the interference in the training schedule with the Harambee Stars trip as well as league matches in between.
“ The national team interference for the league teams could be felt. The schedule for the friendly affected our preparation. I hope this can also be looked into to avoid club versus country clashes.”
