The skipper has revealed the key ingredient to to the team’s win on Wednesday at Nyayo Stadium.

The 2-0 win away to City Stars was a great show of team focus and a message that the side is intact according to skipper Martin Imbalambala.

“We are united for a purpose and that showed in today’s match,” he told the Website team after the match.

“The team is united and that was what you all saw out there. We played as a unit and gave our best. That is why we managed to win the match.”

 

Imbalambala reckoned that the team needed to get back on track and salvage the season that has seemingly not gone so well according to plan. He revealed that despite the recent spate of results and rumours of pressure, that was not in the locker room.

 

“Obviously the fans are under pressure at this point. However, we told ourselves that we needed o play as per the instructions we have and play our own game. That way the fans will be behind us and spur as to a win. We were not under pressure at all.”
