AFC Leopards are preparing a shock transfer bid for Gor Mahia defenders Jackson Saleh and Haroun Shakava.
Goal understands that the two have become a June transfer target for the former league champions, who are keen to beef up their squad with experienced players.
A source said talks have already begun with the two players, who are searching for more playing time. Saleh, who joined Gor Mahia at the beginning of the season, has hardly played while Shakava has been struggling.
“We are keen to sign the two and talks have already been initiated. We know they will bring a lot of stability at our back and this is what we need with so many young players,” said our source.
Leopards will however, be forced to pay heavily to have the two players as Gor Mahia may not be willing to sell.
