AFC Leopards bounced back to winning ways with a deserved 1-0 win over Muhoroni Youth in a match played at the Mbaraki Sports ground. Having lost 2-0 to Chemelil Sugar last weekend, Stewart Halls charges knew that nothing short of maximum points would excite the ardent fans who thronged the City of Mombasa for the 4pm kick off.

Ingwe started the match on a high tempo with Allan Kateregga squaring his short wide off the post after being put through by Fiamenyo . The enterprising Ugandan did not stop from their as he got himself onto the score sheet for the second time this season when he finished off a typical Ingwe move that was initiated by Kenyan international Duncan Otieno.

Otieno picked up Isuzza on the left flank and he did not hesitate as he picked up Gilbert Fiamenyo who flicked  the ball to Kateregga who headed the ball home in the 35th minute to send Ingwe fans into frenzy.

Leopards controlled the game in the second half despite losing Andrew Tololwa to injury. Robinson Kamura almost put the game beyond doubt but a fine save from the Muhoroni keeper maintained the scoreline.
