Former AFC Leopards SC players Musa Otieno and Simeon Mulama have been appointed to the newly named Harambee Stars technical bench.
Football Kenya Federation named Bobby Williamson as head coach on Tuesday. He will be assisted by Musa Otieno while Mulama will serve as the team manager.
“This is the beginning of a fresh start for our football and the new team under Bobby has a responsibility to groom youth players from the Under-15 category all the way to the senior ranks,” said FKF boss Sam Nyamweya at a media conference on Tuesday.
Details of Bobby’s tenure will be announced later but FKF chair Nyamweya hinted they would have atleast two years to plan the system.
“Adel had five years so we may give Bobby’s team the same length of time so that we ensure that we have stability in the team,” he said.
“I am humbled by the opportunity to serve the country at such a level,” Mulama said.
Mulama and Musa follow the footsteps of former Leopards like Joe Kadenge, Mickey Weche, and Jonathan Niva in managing the national team.
