Victor Omune was born on 14^th February 1993 at Pumwani in Nairobi. He went to Babadogo Primary School and Blessed Teresa High School  in  Lucky Summer. Omune has had a good, structured football journey where he started playing football at MYSA from the U-10 to the under-16 categories.

He then joined BIG Bebs ,a local football team in Lucky Summer then joined Kariobangi youth (2008), then moved to  Kariobangi Sharks (2008-2014). Here are some of the other teams Omune has featured for : Mahakama FC 2014, AFC Leopards 2015-2016- this was after a successful trials stint under Coach Zravko Logarusic, Muhoroni Youth FC where he won The KPL top 8 tournament, Nairobi Stima (2017-2019), KCB FC 2019-2021 and finally returned to AFC Leopards in 2021 . While at AFC Leopards, the Kenyan international finally made his debut with the National Team .
