AFC Leopards hosts Police  FC in matchday 30 at Dandora Stadium in an FKF-PL match that kicks off at 3.00pm on Wednesday 15th May 2024 .

AFC Leopards  media caught up with club captain Cliff Miheso ahead of the match. Miheso will be facing  his former employers, though not  for the first time. He featured  in the first leg match  at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, that ended  in a 2-all draw. Brian Yakhama and Cliff Nyakeya, the goal scorers.

About this week’s team preparations, “Training has been excellent this week. The team has been focused and putting in the hard work needed to prepare for our upcoming match. The team is in good spirits and ready to give our best on the field.”

“Police FC is a strong team with a solid track record. They have a very organized style of football, and we know they will pose a challenge. However, we are prepared and confident in our abilities to execute our plan effectively. We approach every match with determination and a winning mindset. Tomorrow’s match is crucial for us to continue our momentum in the league. We are aiming for nothing less than a positive result. We have prepared well and will look to execute our game plan effectively on the field.”

How will tomorrow’s results be important for that match?

As a team every match for us is crucial, and tomorrow’s result will certainly have an impact on our morale and confidence heading into the Cup semi-finals. A positive outcome will give us momentum going forward. However, our primary focus right now is on tomorrow’s match and giving our best performance.

Do you feel it’s a special match to you, considering they are your former employers?

Playing against my former club does add any unique element to the match. My primary focus  as we approach the match is contributing towards the team’s success and achieving our objectives for the season.

Police FC are currently on a 17-match unbeaten run, second on the FKF-PL table.
