Arthur Gitego has received a national team call-up to his Rwandese national team . This is the fifth time Gitego has been called up by the national team. The striker will be linking up with his teammates after our FKF-PL match against Tusker FC this Sunday.
Gitego joined AFC Leopards in January from Rwandese side Marine FC. He’s so far scored 4 goals for the Leopards – 3 in the FKF Cup and 1 in the FKF-PL. He was elated with this call-up , and had this to say, “I am very happy for getting recognition and call up from my national team. It’s always a pleasure to represent my country . I thank my AFC Leopards family- my teammates, and the coaching staff for helping me to achieve this.”
Rwanda will be taking part in a three nations tournament in Antananarivo Madagascar during the international break. The hosts Madagascar and Botswana will also be part of the tournament that will be played in from 22nd to 25th March .
