Born March 13, 1969, William Inganga blossomed into a respected striker traversing African, South American and Asian leagues professionally.

Leopards were desperate to find a replacement for Joe Masiga whose career had recently come to an end. While at Nyangori High School he used to shift playing positions from goalkeeper to a striker with Ken M’maitsi.
In 1990 he joined AFC Leopards SC and played here for four years up to 1994 where he continued with his prolific scoring record.
Following his dazzling performance at Kenyan top tier league with AFC Leopards SC, Egyptian giants Zamalek came calling for his signature. He signed for Zamalek in 1994.
Paraguay side Cerro Porteno Sports Club Asuncion identified his prowess in front of the goal and signed him. He didn’t disappoint again and made a good name for himself in the Paraguayan league.
William Inganga is the only Kenyan to play Copa Libertadores, the premier club competition in South America an equivalent to UEFA Champions league in Europe.
In 1996 he parted ways with Cerro Porteno Sports Club Asuncion Paraguay and joined Peru side Atletico Torino De Talara for one year.
1997 he joined Guoan Sports Club China Beijing. Inganga suffered an injury but recovered after an operation and resumed playing in 1999 signing for Salgoacar Sports Club in India.

The burly ex-AFC Leopards SC talisman is a Senior Sports and Fitness Technician in Djibouti.
