Chemilil FC initially held the Leopards to a goalless draw in first-half before scoring twice in the second-half to inflict Leopards first defeat of the season in a match played at Moi Stadium, Kisumu on Sunday. John Mwita scored the first goal in the 50th minute, 16 minutes before Hillary Echesa doubled the lead.
A win for the Leopards would have sent them at the summit of the league but the loss now places them 6th with seven points out of four matches. Leopards next match is against Muhoroni Youth and will be played in Mombasa on the 16th of April.
