AFC Leopards defender James Situma is delighted with the club’s form in the past few matches of  second leg League. Situma now targets a  strong finish to the season after a disastrous first leg.

“We are at least winning points and that is what we all wanted from the beginning of the season.”

” We need to build confidence as we head to the homestretch. We had a very difficult first leg and this made us lose confidence but at one point we had to believe in ourselves and that made us pick up and start posting some good results.”

“We have beaten Tusker, Gor Mahia, KRA and most of the sides that are above us. This has made us believe in ourselves. We intend to do that in our remaining fixtures.”

“The place(Mumias) is a wonderful place. The environment, facilities and everything makes this one of the best places to be. I wish that we played here(Mumias) week in week out. It is the best facility in the country and I wish we had such facilities in almost every region in the republic. The conditions here are conducive for all players. We love it down here.”

“Winning two matches in a row and getting a point against Gor Mahia has really made each one of us have self belief. We have to maintain this momentum and hope that other results go our way.”

“We beat them in the first leg in Machakos and we know we can beat them on Sunday when we play them at Kasarani. We are looking forward to the match and we hope to win and close that gap.”
