Good Evening Ingwe Family,
As the curtains fell to our much awaited AFC Leopards 2022 elections, I humbly accept the will of the majority to grant me a second term as the Chairman of AFC Leopards SC or the second time, this is historic in our Club. I promise to work as hard for those who didn’t vote for me – as those who did.
I pledge to lead our club diligently , as it is our symbol of unity. I seek to restore Ingwe’s lost glory in the Kenyan Premier League. To make Ingwe respected in the whole country and beyond.
I deeply appreciate each and everyone, who was involved in the process in one way or another.
I also take this opportunity to thank all the aspirants who participated in the elections. In particular, I thank Ronald Namai for the great fight he put in ensuring the chairperson’s position was very competitive and well fought for.
For Robert Omusawa and Tonny Omusina thank you both, for a well organized and peaceful campaigns . The campaigns were a great learning lesson to our members as they came face to face with issues affecting our club.
I will be honored to be serving with the fantastic duo – Secretar General Gilbert Andugu and Treasurer Oliver Napali Imbenzi. I equally take this opportunity to congratulate them for their resounding victory.
Special thanks goes to the outgoing Secretary General Oliver Sikuku and Treasurer Chichi Maurice, whom we worked hard with me to steer the club amidst all the hurdles we experienced in the past three years.
I appreciate the organizers of the elections , who for tirelessly worked working to ensure we had a free, fair, peaceful and transparent elections, AFC Leopards registered members who travelled from far and within to participate in the historic club elections.
To my family, campaign team, well wishers and all those who supported us, and gave so much of themselves to make this happen, Thank you very much. I am proud of you all.
I believe it’s time to continue with the work we started. I call upon everyone to put away the harsh rhetoric, irrespective of the camps we were in, embrace each other, listen to each other, put our differences aside and work as a team in the spirit of Ours Forever.
